Who is the workshop for:
- For all enthusiastic wind players (flutists, oboists, clarinetists, saxophonists, and bassoonists) of any age and level.
- For saxophonists of all sizes and tunings: soprano, alto, tenor, baritone
- For players of so-called “related” instruments: piccolo, bass clarinet, English horn, contrabassoon
- Students of elementary art schools and conservatories, as well as graduates and adult enthusiasts, are all welcome.
- For teachers at elementary art schools (and similar institutions)
How it works:
- You register for the workshop
- No later than the end of May 2026, you will receive the sheet music from us. The arrangements are made so that younger musicians can play them comfortably as well. More experienced players will enjoy space for solo melodies and more demanding passages.
- Along with the sheet music, you will also get interactive practice audio and video recordings that will make your preparation for the workshop easier and more varied.
- At the workshop, we will rehearse and practice the pieces in a pleasant, friendly atmosphere and also enjoy the accompanying program.
- The highlight of the workshop is the evening concert (Tuesday 25/8), which you will enjoy like a real orchestral player.

Summer Windissimo is smoothly followed by Summer “Fantasy” Klarinetissimo on 26–29 August 2026, also at the KC Unitaria venue.
Clarinetists who wish to participate in both workshops will receive a EUR 50 discount.

Organizing and teaching team:
Zuzana Čajková
Zuzana Čajková studied clarinet at the Conservatory in Teplice and later continued to expand her education at international clarinet courses in Ostrava and in Žirovnice, South Bohemia.
From 2008 to the present, she has been the principal clarinetist of the North Bohemian Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Ústí nad Labem, and since 2016 she has also been a member of the North Bohemian Philharmonic Teplice.
She is also a regular guest performer with other Czech orchestras such as Royal Philharmonic Prague, Chamber Opera Prague, the orchestra of the F. X. Šalda Theatre in Liberec, and others.
She gained teaching experience at the Elementary School of the Arts in Chabařovice, where she has been teaching clarinet since 2010.
Jaroslav Škuta
Jaroslav Škuta was born in 1990 in Mělník, where he began playing the clarinet at the local elementary art school at the age of 11. He studied clarinet at the Teplice Conservatory, the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ostrava, and Kent State University (Ohio, US), where he also served as a Teaching Assistant in 2019–2020.
Since 2013, he has been working as a clarinetist with the orchestra of the North Bohemian Theatre of Opera and Ballet. He is a regular guest with Czech orchestras such as the Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra, Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague, the orchestra of the F. X. Šalda Theatre in Liberec, and others.
As a performer, he also focuses on chamber music and contemporary music, and regularly appears at festivals such as Třídenní, Hudba v Souvislostech, and others.
Since 2021, he has been teaching clarinet at ZUŠ Praha 6, Nad Alejí 28. In his teaching, he places emphasis on chamber and ensemble playing – he leads the Large Clarinet Ensemble of ZUŠ Nad Alejí.
He is also involved in arranging and composing pieces for beginner clarinetists and shares his materials in the Facebook group Clarinet, key, let’s play!
In 2023, he published his first publication entitled Fun Scales.
